A big problem with this article. First off all the nature of Lego type games is the building process of your creation. There is a trial and error that accompanies the game. It sounded like to me that the writer didn't build his vehicle well enough, and perhaps had he had more time would have created something worthwhile.
A side note to hear that the game is 80% vechicle is just an estimate, and at this stage of development I'm pretty sure there is more of the title we have yet t...
good is the fighting in the game? What would should be changed or made better from anyone who's played the demo. For some strange reason the demo constantly freezes on me.
Needs new hits, its how they became who they were. Never settling and always innovating, and the same goes for their franchises. Unless they are going to innovate them, then progress should be made with the best of their talents and a focus on the future.
The Wii this is gold. Tons of systems sold, and players wanting a different experience. Sega and Platinum games are on to something with this title on the Wii. Also I think older gamers who own a Wii, have justification for a real purchase. Platinum is made up of former Capcom, Clover, Team ICO, members. So expect the game to have substance...
believe you have haters speaking on this podcast and taking it out of context. First and foremost this is an XBLA developer, who worked at Microsoft in their tech department to help developers. When major nelson asks him the question about the Xbox 360 technically he does not elaborate on the system hardware specifically. What he does say is that We have reached graphical limitations in terms of photo realisim. He goes on to make the comparison of what can be done in games that can't be done ...
Seems Microsoft wants to make another Asian country a priority outside of Japan. This could be interesting on the game front, but as a company Microsoft hands on in that region in terms of business. Then to partner with a car manufacturer, looking at the success they are having with Ford and Sync could be more stuff like this to come. Wonder what type of games will come out of the studio though?
The game that I'll be comparing to R2 and Killzone2. We'll see if Treyarch learned any good lessons, I doubt Activision with it's new merger will allow anything less than stellar. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if we hear down the line that Infinity Ward, is involved with the title in some form or fashion. That would make sense if I were executives at all three companies. COD is just too huge of a property not to get right.
It's the gameplay, but there is really a big difference between 1 and 2. Also keep in mind that the clip we are watching happens early in the game. So this tells me there is more coming. No enviornment destruction, the new enemies, the Snow mountain alluded to in Game Informer. So pardon me if I don't agree. We are only in May. Wow...just...Wow
There are testers right now playing this game. I'm wondering what else are they working on, because it looks good enough to play at this...
People are smoking crack. The difference between the two is actually night and day. For goodness sake look at the colors, textures, and lighting! There is a significant difference between the two. Then you add in all the action taking place, the UE3 is doing an incredible job. Look there are more than one Bruhmaks on screen. You didn't even get one in the first title on the xbox 360. Then look at the scale of the characters, enviornment, you have to be dead blind not to see the improvements. ...
the problem HITman. We have not seen that much of Killzone2 in really any shape or form. I mean it's not like the game is a secret. So there really is no defense for them not showing its impressive aspects. The game has been in development before the PS3 was final. Let's be real for a minute you got to play Gears before it, and you will get to play it's sequel. There is really no excuse. Except to say that to make AAA software like Killzone2 on the PS3 you need a super amount of time and reso...
Really digging the demo. I've logged in a good amount of time with it. I can't stand the BMW in the race track mode. I do love the Drifting segement, thats top notch, I'm working on getting 400,000 points in that mode. All in all pretty good. They need to make some little tweaks to gameplay AI, and control. Which needs to be a bit more crisp and tight, so you feel like you are really in control of the vehicle. I only feel that way in the drift mode, it's so responsive.
a damn lie. All those shots where in motion and in clips. You are not getting a true representation that way. What joke, haters will do anything.
Like someone said, we keep hearing and seeing comparisons of Gears of War series to Killzone2. A title you have yet to even play or see in front of you. While you have already gotten to play at least one Gears game. That is sad. Killzone2 has been in development so long that I personally don't even care about the game. Shoot Gears2 may...
This game looks better than Killzone2 point blank. I just went and watched the Killzone2 triler 8 times. Wanted to make sure that I could write the truth of exactly what I see from both games.
Killzone2 looks good and you can see that the four years of development are starting to pay off for the game. Yet there are only 7-9 characters on the screen, everything else is background. Add to the fact that once you get past the gun and the two soldiers in front of you, the game is blu...
I also find it sad that folks like to say that the PS3 outsold the 360, but it's still in last place. Which means the win was actually not effective, but looks good as a number. Everything he said in that article is spot on, although that 5 million mark doesn't add up.
Looking at how well the 360 is doing with Grand theft auto4 its safe to say that as time goes on this year the Xbox 360 will pull ahead. I don't know one person w...
baffles me is the people who don't think a basically first generation Xbox 360 game could look better? The longer a game generation goes the better developers do and more they can pull out from a system. I mean looking at Cod4 do you really think Epic is going to slouch and not bring their "A" game to this title? Especially when they know they have too? Hasn't Game Informer told you already that the game is on a "Nutso" level? That it surpasses Gears of War 1? Stop the hat...
